What We Do

Whalebone Films specialise in producing creative and engaging documentary films, for broadcast, radio and online.

Whalebone Films offer fun, educational workshops in documentary filmmaking. Our workshops cover practical skills such as camera work, sound-operating and editing, as well as interview techniques and documentary research. Our leaders bring with them a diverse range of skills and qualifications which contribute to the success of the workshops, including PGCE (professional teaching qualification) and over eight years' experience working with schools, youth groups and ex-offenders. We encourage participants to work in teams and do our best to make sure each group comes out with a finished film they feel proud of.
